Fashola makes final appearance on Funmi Iyanda’s Change-A-Life TV special

Change A Life Nigeria TV show 2015With five months to go as Governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Fashola, has begun a series of valedictory activities preparatory to quitting Government House. The first in the New Year is his final appearance as Special Guest on Funmi Iyanda’s annual Change-A-Life (CAL) TV special.

The 2015 edition, as usual, will be broadcast on NTA Network on Thursday January 1 from 9 to10am. It will appreciate Fashola for his consistent support for CAL since he became governor on May 29, 2007. Host and Founder of Change-A-Life, Funmi Iyanda, will be joined by Publisher of Ovation International, Dele Momodu, as the co-host.

During the show, the Change-A-Life Foundation will also recognise and acknowledge worthy organisations and individuals for their contributions towards making a change in the society in various areas of focus for the show. Prominent and life changing issues that occupied Nigeria in 2014 will be discussed by various stakeholders and organisations.

In addition, the Foundation will launch its social community – The CAL Community – to provide a platform for sharing ideas about changing lives in the society. The CAL Community is part of a new direction going forward in the New Year.

The Annual Remi Lagos Awards of Excellence will also be presented to the most outstanding educational scholarship beneficiaries of the Foundation

Change-A-Life Foundation (CAL) is a social service non-profit organisation with the mission to act as a bridge between people with human, community and leadership potential yet great need and the individuals, agencies and organisations with the capacity and willingness to meet these people’s needs. The organization’s mandate is to identify the needs of people in our communities and channel our resources towards fulfilling those needs.

CAL’s primary focus is capacity building. Its programme delivery is channeled through educational scholarships, business grants, young adult mentoring, adult and community education, women empowerment, and civic engagement.

The foundation has over the past 13 years of its existence impacted on over 5,000 lives directly from all walks of life and over 50,000 indirectly through its programmes with a mission to do more. It was founded by Funmi Iyanda, easily recognised as Nigeria’s foremost TV host and media entrepreneur.
