Singer Kingsley Okonkwo, better known as Kcee, has sparked reactions on social media after dedicating his Headies Award to his wife who he also called his girlfriend.
Kcee bagged the award for Best Inspirational Single for his song ‘Cultural Praise’ which featured Okwesili Eze Group, at the event held on Sunday in Atlanta, USA.
While accepting the award, the 43-year-old said he was dedicating the award to his wife and girlfriend leaving many confused and shocked. Kcee, however, quickly added that his wife is also his girlfriend.
He said: “This is like the fourth or third Headies I have, I am so excited I want to dedicate this to my family, my wife, my girlfriend and my children. My wife is my girlfriend, she is my best friend, she is supportive, she is encouraging me to always go out and make her proud and this is for her.”
