Former presidential candidate of the Allied Congress Party of Nigeria (ACPN), Oby Ezekwesili, has officially resigned from the party.
Mrs Ezekwesili dumped the party on Monday in a press conference in Abuja.
She had promised to address all questions concerning her withdrawal from the presidential race upon her return from Mexico.
The former education minister also returned the party’s membership card and all other party items in her possession.
She said that she was leaving the party because it was more fixated on money than votes.
