Ex-Super Eagles player Justice Christopher, slumps, dies

Former Super Eagles player Justice Christopher has died after reportedly slumping in his hotel in Jos, Plateau State capital on Wednesday.

The former midfielder was allegedly struggling with high blood pressure.

His remains have been deposited at the Plateau Specialist Hospital.

Christopher featured for Nigeria at the 2002 FIFA World Cup against England. He was capped 11 times for the senior national team.

He also featured for Katsina United, Sharks FC, Bendel Insurance FC, Antwerp FC (Belgium), Levski Sofia (Bulgaria), Trelleborgs FF (Sweden), Alania Vladikavkaz (Russia) and Herfolge BK (Denmark).

The deceased last played club football for Nasarawa United in the Nigerian league.
