Ex-NBC director, 15-year-old daughter, others abducted in Katsina

A former zonal director of the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) Ahmed Abdulkadir and his 15-year-old daughter, Laila, and three others have been abducted in an attack on Monday night in Bakori, Katsina State.

They were taken captive by armed men at Shema quarters.

Others abducted are Bello Bakori, Shamsuddeen Aminu and Habibu Rabe.

The retired NBC director was reportedly in Bakori to see his second wife.

He was the general manager of Katsina State Television Authority before he joined the service of NBC, where he was head of public affairs and later zonal director in both Maiduguri and Sokoto zones.
