Arsenal fans couldn’t believe their luck after being paired with Ahmed Musa’s CSKA Moscow in Friday’s Europa League quarter-final draw.
With the likes of Atletico Madrid, Lazio and Marseille still in the competition, the Gunners feared their worst fear may come true.
However, instead, they got Musa’s team, perceived as the weakest in the last eight.
With the help of the Nigerian, CSKA defeated Lyon 3-2 while Arsenal shredded AC Milan 3-1 in Thursday’s return legs.
And despite Arsene Wenger’s hassles against the Red-Blues, Gooners were utterly excited to have been paired with them.
