Enyimba FC may have lost grounds on the local front, however, the two-time African champions are still highly regarded on the continent.

The Aba giants have been placed at fifth position of the club-football rankings in the continent with 27 points, according to Africans Got Football.

The People’s Elephants performed exceptionally well at the 2018 CAF Confederation Cup before being bundled by eventual winners Raja Casablanca in the semifinal of the competition.

They came up strong against Cara Brazzaville, Williamsville, Djoliba and AS Rayon Sports in the Confederation Cup.

The Aba Elephants are raising the Nigerian flag high in terms of overall success in the continent, being placed fifth.

Egyptian giants, Al Ahly are at the summit with 67 points followed by powerhouses TP Mazembe and Etoile du Sahel.
