Former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama, and striker, Emmanuel Emenike, have been invited for the Joseph Yobo testimonial match holding on May 27 at the Adokiye Amiesimeka Stadium in Port Harcourt.

The two players quit international football last year after falling out with then Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh.

The event coordinator, Waidi Akanni, on Wednesday, confirmed that Enyeama and Emenike were ready for the testimonial game.

“We have a confirmation to that effect and there are many other goodies lined up for fans because Yobo is so passionate about this project,” Akanni said.

“Emmanuel is coming. He spoke with me personally and I am so elated with the love shown by my colleagues.”

Enyeama is the most capped Super Eagles player with 101 appearances.

He is followed by Yobo with 100.

The testimonial match is expected to have in attendance top players like Samuel Eto’o, Didier Drogba, John Terry, Thierry Henry and Wayne Rooney.

The Joseph Yobo Foundation is organising the match in partnership with the Rivers State Government.
