Eminem confirms status as ‘rap god’ with brutal attack on Trump

Fans are loving rapper, Eminem, for brutally criticising US President Donald Trump in a video shown during Tuesday night’s BET Hip Hop Awards.

In the video, Eminem is shown in a Detroit car park, stepping towards the camera to rap directly to viewers.

The 44-year-old slammed Trump for focusing on NFL players who “take a knee”, and causing drama on social media.

He accused him of racism, hypocrisy, disrespect of military veterans and more in almost five minutes of furious freestyle rap.

Eminem also attacked the president for his responses to the recent violence in Charlottesville, Va., the devastation in Puerto Rico from Hurricane Maria and the mass shooting in Las Vegas.

For his fans who can’t decide who to support: “Any fan of mine who’s a supporter of his, I’m drawing in the sand a line, you’re either for or against. If you can’t decide who you like more and you’re split on who you should stand beside, I’ll do it for you with this,” he said, raising a middle finger.

Expectedly, Twitter could not wait to get in on the act, with many – including Colin Kaepernick, the first NFL player to take a knee during the national anthem – throwing their weight behind Slim Shady.
