EFCC to arraign Naira Marley Monday on 11-count charge

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has announced plans to arraign musician, Naira Marley, on Monday over 11 counts of fraud and cybercrimes.

The charge sheet was signed by Rotimi Iseoluwa ESQ, I. A Mohammed ESQ, U. U Buhari ESQ and A. O Mohammed.

The anti-graft agency shared pictures of the sheet via Instagram on Friday.

“Arraignment: FRN VS AZEEZ ADESHINA FASHOLA.

“Naira Marley to be arraigned on 11 count charge on Monday, May 20, 2019,” they wrote in parts.

Naira Marley had been arrested last Friday alongside colleague, Omoniyi Raphael, popularly known as Zlatan, and three others.

The ‘Am I a Yahoo Boy’ singer is still being held in EFCC custody despite the release of colleague, Zlatan Ibile, and others on Tuesday.

EFCC spokesman, Tony Orilade, said Zlatan and the others were released on administrative bail.
