Actress Rita Edochie has knocked Yinka Theisen, the former partner of her nephew-in-law Linc Edochie, for attacking members of the Edochie family on social media.
Yinka had earlier gone on a social media rant, insulting Rita and May Edochie, the estranged wife of actor Yul Edochie.
In a video and accompanying posts, the US-based businesswoman said: “Rita, that old witch said I should open my walls for you guys to attack me. Come on. Bring it on, you met your match. Call me anything you want; bring it on. And that your silly Queen who has nothing going on for her. If she was that great, why would a woman steal her husband? She isn’t that great, you know that. You have met your match, Edochie. You stepped on a cobra’s tail. I am not the one, bring it on. I just started. More to come.”
Responding on Instagram on Friday night, Rita fired back at Yinka, describing her as a “nuisance” and warning that the Edochie family would not tolerate disrespect.
“Edochie’s family is not a dumping ground for retãrded,” she wrote. “We don’t want a matrimonial menace in our family.”
Rita, who has been vocal in her support for May Edochie since Yul took a second wife, also advised Yinka to focus on more meaningful pursuits instead of picking online fights.
Yinka and Linc Edochie were previously in a relationship, but their romance ended on a sour note. Since then, Yinka has repeatedly accused members of the Edochie family of hypocrisy and interference in her private life.
The feud has drawn mixed reactions from fans, with some backing Rita for standing up for her family, while others urged both women to end the public war of words.
Neither Yinka nor Linc has issued a fresh statement since Rita’s post.
