Abure Ebosetale, a model representing Edo State, has been crowned Mister International Nigeria 2026.

He was announced as the winner at the Misters of Nigeria 2026 grand finale and will represent the country at the Mister International 2026 pageant in Thailand this September.

The event took place on Thursday, at the MUSON Centre in Lagos. Ebosetale emerged as the winner after a selection process that began with hundreds of entries across the country. Following several months of fitness, intelligence, and character challenges, 17 finalists were selected for the grand finale.

Other major titles were awarded to finalists who will also represent Nigeria at various global competitions later this year.

The theme for this year’s edition was “Impact is Imminent,” focusing on leadership and social responsibility.

Ebosetale will now prepare for the 18th Mister International competition, scheduled to hold on September 26, at the MCC Hall, The Mall Lifestore Bangkapi in Bangkok. He follows in the footsteps of Nigeria’s Samuel Nwajagu, who became the first African to win the international title in 2024.
