Ebuka Obi-Uchendu commiserates with victims of Onitsha fire incident

Media personality and lawyer, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, has commiserated with victims of the Onitsha fire outbreak on Wednesday.

The Big Brother Naija TV show host, in an early Thursday post on Twitter, said he was greatly saddened by the incident and offered a prayer for the souls of the departed.

“Last night was a lot. We really are on our own in this country. Those images from Onitsha are still so heartbreaking. May the departed rest in peace,” he wrote.

The post has generated comments from other celebrities, who also offered prayers for the victims.

The 2019 edition of the Big Brother Naija show is the third consecutive year that Ebuka, who contested the first edition of the show in 2006, served as host.
