Singer Banky W has remembered how music producer Dr Frabz produced the song that changed his life.

The 39-year-old revealed the song in a tweet on Sunday.

He said the song ‘Lagos Party’ brought so much joy to people.

“Dokta Frabz produced “Lagos Party”. That song changed my life. It brought so much joy to people over the years and encapsulated what celebrating in Lagos feels like. He’s gone but his legacy lives on. May God rest his soul and strengthen his family’s,” he wrote.

In another post he said, “Frabz also produced my song “Thief My Kele” feat. @OfficialWaje and @olaDEL. He was such a versatile producer. Gutted that he’s gone, but grateful that we got to work together. Rest in Peace, King.”

Born Ayorinde Faboro, Dr Frabz’s death was announced by his colleague Samklef on Twitter on Saturday.

He said, “Rip legend! Ayo ( dr Frabz) We spoke 2 weeks ago u asked how is Houston treating me? I came to Maryland yesterday only for me to hear that u are no more today. What a sad day! A brother is gone! another producer is gone! RIP!”

An indigene of Ekiti, Frabz produced hit songs like Dagrin’s ‘Thank God’, WizKid’s ‘Bombay’, and ‘Joy’ among others.

He started music at the age of six when he began playing the piano.

Professionally, he began producing music in 2006 with the moniker Dr Frabz which stands for Doctor of Flavour, Rhythm and Blues. He founded N’sayne Entertainment and worked with several music stars such as Naeto C, Davido, Dagrin, YQ, Shank, Omawumi and others.

‘Lagos Party’ was released in 2009.
