Filmmaker, Daniel Ademinokan, on Tuesday confirmed what everybody already knew with the announcement that Nollywood actress, Stella Damasus, is his wife.
“While people across the Atlantic are waiting for the announcement of a wedding date, I celebrate you today my beautiful WIFE @stelladamasus,” the ex-husband of another Nollywood actress, Doris Simeon, wrote on Instagram.
Daniel’s marriage to Doris, whom he met on a movie set in 2006, ended in 2010, but their divorced was not finalised until 2013.
The marriage produced a son, David, born on April 4, 2008.
Stella, 38, began an affair with the then married director in 2011 to widespread condemnation in Nollywood and beyond.
The Desperate and Dangerous actress’ first marriage was to Jaiye Aboderin in 1999.
That marriage, which produced two girls, Angelica and Isabel, lasted till Jaiye died in December 2004 aged 33.
Three years later, she got remarried to Emeka Nzeribe but the marriage lasted only seven months before a mutual agreement to divorce.
Daniel and Stella public admitted to being in a relationship in 2014.
