Don’t cry when I die, Harrysong shares disturbing message

Singer and songwriter, Harrysong, has shared a rather disturbing message saying that he does not want people to cry when he dies.

In a cryptic message posted to Instagram on Wednesday, the AlterPlate Records founder talked about death while giving an hint on how he should be celebrated when he passes.

Harrysong urged his fans not to cry when he dies, saying his life should be celebrated with a concert.

The ‘Reggae Blues’ singer said he has lived and “done my bit”.

The post has left many of his followers to wonder about his mental state.

“Don’t cry when I die, celebrate, put up a kingmaker concert, empower more youths, I have lived. I have done my bit, carry on in grace… TEKERO I LOVE YOU ALL.#altersoldier,” the 37-year-old he wrote.

Harrysong was formerly signed to Five Star Music owned by brothers, Kcee and E-Money.

The singer had a falling out with the brothers prior to his exit from the record label.

Harrysong rose to fame after his tribute song to Nelson Mandela won the Most Downloaded Callertune Award at The Headies in 2013.

He was born in Warri, Delta State, to Ijaw parents but moved to Lagos in 2007 after spending some of his early life in Port Harcourt.

The ‘Arabanko’ singer was nominated in the Best Pop/R&B Artist of the Year category at the 2014 Nigeria Entertainment Awards after the release of his chart-topping song ‘Beta Pikin’.
