Managing director of TVCe Morayo Afolabi-Brown has congratulated former Lagos police public relations officer Dolapo Badmos on her promotion from chief superintendent of police to assistant commissioner of police.
Badmos’ promotion was announced on Wednesday by the Police Service Commission (PSC).
In an Instagram post, Mrs Afolabi-Brown said Badmos’ promotion was long overdue.
“Congratulations to my dear sister former CSP, Dolapo Badmos has been was recently promoted to Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP). This was a long overdue promotion,” she wrote.
“So proud of you sis. We waited long for this and it is here. Oluwaseun. May God be praised. Hallelujah.”

Badmos, regarded by many as a celebrity police officer, wrote about her promotion on Instagram, saying, “New Level uploaded, a big congratulations to me.”
On her part, Afolabi-Brown was appointed MD of TVCe, the entertainment channel of TVC Communications, in November 2023. Until her appointment, she was the deputy director of Programmes at TVC News.
