Mavin Records singer, Hadiza Blell, better known by her stage name Di’Ja, has given birth secretly for the second time since her equally secret marriage in 2015.
The singer made the disclosure in an Instagram post to celebrate her mum on Monday.
“My mother is God’s gift. #GRANDMA and her grandkids. Wow I now have TWO children now (a boy and a girl). Alhamdullilah,” she wrote.
“I’m the happiest woman alive. God bless my husband, mother, father, and my brother and his family.”
Her second child, a girl, she said came on Friday, March 9, a day after she did a photoshoot.
She was particularly grateful to all those who kept her pregnancy secret and the Mavin crew for helping her finish her EP while she was pregnant.
Signed onto Mavin on February 14, 2014, Di’Ja scored her first hit with ‘Dorobucci’ released in May of that year.
The song features label mates Don Jazzy, Dr SID, Tiwa Savage, D’Prince, Korede Bello and Reekado Banks.
She got married to a man simply identified as Rotimi on December 10, 2015 and gave birth to a boy in 2016.
