Diamond Platnumz’s girlfriend shoots down child’s paternity controversy

Diamond Platnumz and girlfriendDiamond Platnumz’ girlfriend,  Zari Hassan, has dismissed the possibility that her new child belongs to King Lawrence, the brother of her former husband, Ivan Ssemwanga.

The rebuttal came after news surfaced on the internet on Monday that King Lawrence is laying a claim to baby Tiffah.

In a letter written to Zari through his counsel, Web Advocates & Solicitors, Lawrence is requesting that the new mother undergo three DNA tests to determine the real father of the child.

The letter reads: “It has come to our client’s attention that you (Zari) have unilaterally decided to offer the paternity of the infant (Tiffah) to one Nasibu Abdul Juma, alias Diamond Platnumz, without considering his (King) strong interests or in fact a real possibility that the child could be his.

“You have also denied him the slightest access to the child.

“We therefore write to officially request your cooperation in this matter so that our client’s fears that a child that could actually be his is not nurtured, groomed and raised by another man with a completely different culture. Our client needs to put this to rest, in any event.”

King and his solicitors want the DNA tests to be done in Uganda, South Africa and in the USA so that “our client is either confirmed or completely excluded from being the infant’s biological father. King undertakes to meet all associated costs involved in this process.”

Responding via an Instagram post on Tuesday, Zari said the claim is a petty form of revenge.

Diamond Platnumz and the Ugandan socialite welcomed Tiffah to the world on August 6 2015.

The new parents since have continued to post adorable pictures of the child on social media.
