American pop star, Demi Lovato, has deleted her Twitter account after extensive trolling by Twitter users over her comments on 21 Savage.

21 Savage faces risk of deportation to the United Kingdom after he was arrested by officials of the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on Sunday for overstaying his visa terms.

Lovato, on Sunday, admitted that 21 Savage’s memes were her favorite part of the Super Bowl in the now-deleted tweet.

She wrote, “So far 21 savage memes have been my favorite part of the Super Bowl.”

Fans soon attacked her for making fun of the rapper’s predicament leading to the songstress deactivating her Instagram late on Sunday.

Celebrities like Wale, Offset, Lil Yachty, and Sid the Kid, all took aim at Lovato following her tweet.

Demi Lovato then explained her side of the story on Monday in a post on InstaStories.

“Wasn’t laughing at anyone getting deported. I know that’s not a joke…not have I EVER laughed at that.

“The meme I posted/was talking about was of him being writing with a feather pen. Sorry if I offended anyone.

“But it’s no excuse to laugh at someone’s addiction, let alone their OD,” she wrote.
