Dele Momodu visits London building where Ovation Magazine launched

Publisher of Ovation Magazine, Dele Momodu, has visited the London building, Beaufort Court, where Ovation Magazine launched 23 years ago.

“Today, I returned, with a deep sense of nostalgia, to where it all started in London Docklands, accompanied by my friend and Brother SENATOR TOKUNBO AFIKUYOMI. 23 years ago, in this very building, called BEAUFORT COURT, Africa’s numero uno magazine OVATION INTERNATIONAL was born,” he wrote.

Dele Momodu had shared a picture of his son, Eniafe, meeting Rotimi Amaechi earlier in March.

He was criticised by Twitter users for advising the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, to concede defeat to President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the wake of the elections.

Mr Momodu was one of the most vocal supporters of Atiku Abubakar’s presidential bid.

Rotimi Amaechi was the director-general of President Muhammadu Buhari’s re-election campaign.

The advice to concede was interpreted by many as the media mogul attempting to realign his political ties.
