The kidnappers of Pastor Mayomi Ogedengbe of Deeper Life Bible Church in Irese Community near Akure, Ondo State have demanded N30 million as ransom.
A family source confirmed the figure to Channels Television on Thursday.
Ondo police spokesperson Tee-Leo Ikoro said the police are still in search of the pastor.
Ogedengbe was kidnapped on Monday at the church after Bible study.
His wife Yinka Ogedengbe had earlier said that she and others followed the kidnappers after they took her husband away, but they retreated because the gunmen shot at them.
