D’banj’s musician brother, Kayswitch, is 31

Singer, rapper and songwriter, Kehinde Oladotun Oyebanjo, popularly known as Kayswitch, clocked 31 on Friday.

Born on February 12, 1985, in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria, he is a younger sibling to Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, more popularly known as D’banj.

Although, Kayswitch has not managed to fully emerge from under D’banj’s shadow D’banj, there is no denying he is a star in his own right.

The ‘Sister Caro’ rapper was formerly affiliated with the defunct Mo’ Hits Records owned by his brother and producer, Don Jazzy.

He however left the label to pitch his tent with his brother after the latter broke up his business relationship with Don Jazzy in 2012.

During his stay with label, the father-of one lent his voice to several Mo’ Hits All Stars singles including ‘Booty Call’ and ‘Pere’.

Kayswitch has toured and performed in several countries including UK, India, Asia, Ghana, South Africa, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Turkey and Dubai.

As a solo artiste, he has released over 10 singles including ‘Jaburata’, ‘Obimo’ and ‘Show My Logo.’

He is currently signed to DB Records owned by his older brother.

His twin sister, Taiwo, is married to Dotun Ojuolape, aka Do2tun, of Cool FM.
