Pop artiste, D’banj, has congratulated his former partner, Don Jazzy, on his recent endorsement as a global ambassador for Johnnie Walker.
The Kokomaster wrote in an Instagram post on Thursday “Congrats to you bro @donjazzy Welcome to the #Diageo Family…”
Don Jazzy was unveiled as ambassador of Johnnie Walker owned by Diageo on September 16.
He announced the deal with the message “It’s with Joy that I join the league of extraordinary global ambassadors of Johnnie Walker.”
D’banj on the other hand is a brand ambassador for Ciroc Vodka also owned by Diageo.
Dapo Oyebanjo, aka D’banj, and Michael Collins, aka Don Jazzy, co-founded Mo’ Hits Records in 2004 but separated in 2012. The breakup was due to creative and business differences.
Don Jazzy has gone on to establish Mavin Records with a number of artistes and string of hits to his credit.
D’banj won the MAMA 2015 Evolution award in July and the 35-year-old dedicated it to his former business partner.
