Davido, P-Square, Funke Akindele, others mourn Garissa terror attack victims

Garrisa terror attackDays after the world woke up to news of the dastardly terror attack on Garissa University College in Kenya, in which 147 people, 142 of them students were gunned down, people all over the globe have continued to condemn the massacre and mourn the victims.

Nigerian celebrities such as Davido, Paul Okoye of P-Square and Funke Akindele, among others have bemoaned the terror attack in the East African country, with many of them putting up pictures of the Kenyan flag on their social media handles.

Funke Akindele wrote, “Really sad, heart-breaking. May the soul of the 147 Garissa students rest in peace, and may the Lord soothe the hearts of their families, Amen#lettherebepeaceandlove.”

Paul of P-Square wrote, “What is the world turning into? African leaders wake up#RIP,” while Davido simply said, “My prayers goes to all out there#PrayForKenya.”

It should be recalled that Al-Shabab terrorists stormed the school in the early hours of Thursday shooting indiscriminately, and holding some of the students hostage.

Five of the terrorists were however arrested in the aftermath of the incident which has been described as one of the deadliest terror attacks in the country.
