An FCT High Court, Apo, on Thursday ordered the remand of 30-year-old Sampson Paul, accused of armed robbery and attempted culpable homicide.

Paul of No.144 Cele Junction, Zone1, Dutse Alhaji, was docked on a four-count charge bordering on armed robbery and attempted culpable homicide.

Though Paul pleaded not guilty, the judge, Justice Peter Kekemeke, ordered that he should be remanded in prison and adjourned the case until April 10, for hearing.

The prosecutor, ASP Kufreabbasi Ebong, had told the court that the defendant committed the offence on July 6, 2017.

He alleged that the defendant stabbed one Francis Ejiakuamu, along Dawaki Road.

Ebong said that he made away with the complainant’s Toyota car, with reg. No. GWALIOR 466 GX

He said that the offence contravened Section 229 of the Penal Code Law.
