The twitter account of Seyitan Babatayo, the woman who accused singer, D’banj, of raping her in December 2018, is apparently being used to promote his song, ‘Stress Free.’

A clip of the video, which also features Afrobeat star, Seun Kuti, was shared on Thursday as part of a series of tweets claiming she had never been arrested and detained over her accusation as previously reported.

“I don’t know where all this rumors are coming from . Myself and my mom were not and have not been arrested,” the first tweet reads.

“I’m done with all these back and forth drama…Frank took me to the party and gave me the key to the room. I’m moving on and leaving everything behind me. Thanks and God bless,” the second tweet added.

“To be very honest this was never our intention, we love you guys, let’s leave our life stress free,” reads the latest tweet with the clip of the song.

Seyitan’s lawyer, Olamide Omileye, on Wednesday, told the Premium Times Newspapers that his client was arrested, intimidated, and coerced into withdrawing her statement.

“They forced her to make those new tweets when she was in custody. They forced her to delete all her tweets and intimidated the hell out of her life,” he told the paper.
