Prior to the election, Adichie endorsed Obi for the nation’s top job. In April, she also wrote an open letter to United States President Joe Biden not to congratulate Bola Tinubu, claiming that the presidential election was flawed.

Former Vice President and the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party Atiku Abubakar also attended the hearing.

The tribunal has resumed hearing in the adoption of written addresses by the petitioners.
