Former aviation minister Femi Fani-Kayode says his estranged wife Precious Chikwendu has refused to see her children despite being granted access for the last one year and five months.

Chikwendu, a former beauty queen, and Mr Fani-Kayode have been having a running battle for the custody of their four sons since their union collapsed more than a year ago.

The former model had also claimed that Fani-Kayode’s lawyer told a court that she was not given access to her sons because one of them had Covid-19.

But Fani-Kayode released a video on Instagram on Saturday, countering what Chikwendu had said. He added that none of the boys had bruises in contrast to her claim.

He said, “No bruises, no scars, no head wounds, no Covid 19, no nothing. Their mother has been given access to see them in the house for the last 1 year and 5 months but she has refused to do so.

“Despite that they are happy and healthy, they have the very best of everything, they are surrounded by love, light, joy, prosperity and peace and they get the very best of care from a set of highly trained and well respected child care specialists and professionals.”

Chikwendu has been calling on mothers on social media to join her cause. The 2014 Miss United Nations pageant winner often makes videos in tears as she attempts to garner support.
