Chelsea fans sweat over Pulisic as FIFA imposes transfer ban

Fans of English side, Chelsea football club, have reacted with fear to the fate of American international, Christian Pulisic, with the lates transfer ban slameed on the club by football governing body, FIFA.

Chelsea will be unable to sign players for two transfer windows after being found guilty of breaching rules about signing players aged under 18.

The Premier League club have also been fined more than £460,000.

England’s football body, the Football Association (FA), faces a £390,000 sanction.

The FA and Chelsea say they will appeal FIFA’s decisions.

The latest ban means Chelsea will be able to sell players but not register any new signings.

Fans have now expressed concerns over Pulisic’s fate despite his transfer from Borussia Dortmund being registered in FIFA’s Transfer Matching System (TMS) in January according to Sky Germany.

Pulisic is already registered right so say someone we were still banned for this summer would be still be allowed to play?

Chelsea’s transfer ban (which will probably be overturned or reduced) puts a whole new slant on the Pulisic deal. Not only does it ensure they replaced Hazard but they probably knew this was coming so they had to sign someone younger rather than their usual late-20s mercenary.

So what do Chelsea do about Christian Pulisic? I mean, he is bought, but he was not registered as a Chelsea player and then loaned back to BVB. Basically, they'll have to wait until the summer of 2020 before they can get him.
