Arsenal fans troll Alexis Sanchez after Champions League exit

Alexis Sanchez Manchester United

Aside from the astronomical wage, Alexis Sanchez stormed out of Arsenal in search of silverware, particularly the Champions League.

At the Emirates, the Chilean clinched the FA Cup twice, yet grasped he needed a fresh challenge at Manchester United.

However, it appears Sanchez may once again end the season with the world’s oldest club competition after United crashed out of Europe on Tuesday night at the hands of Sevilla.

The 29-year-old produced one of his worst displays since moving to England for Jose Mourinho’s side in the encounter.

He seemed muddled of sort, woeful on possession almost all the time, losing the ball 42 times.

Ex-Red Devil, Rio Ferdinand said about the Chilean:”He looks a shadow of the player he was, he looks a stranger in this team…” “In some ways, I feel sorry for him.”

Not just the former England international was unpleased with Sanchez’s performance, though – almost all United fans share his sentiment.

Gunner faithful, however, was happy.
