Celestial shepherd Kunle Hamilton knocks BBNaija winner Imisi, calls show ‘swimming pool of sin’

Celestial Church of Christ shepherd and founder of Praiseville Global, Kunle Hamilton, has criticised the Big Brother Naija reality TV show and its Season 10 winner, Imisi, describing the platform as a “swimming pool of sin.”

In a viral video, Hamilton said he agreed with those who believe the show is not suitable for Christians, urging young Celestians to stay away from future editions.

“A few things surrounding Imisi’s participation in this reality show-people have said it’s not a place for Christians. Honestly, I agree 100%. I must cry out to young Celestians like Imisi. I would hate to see Celestians in the next season of this reality show,” he said.

He added: “If Imisi got lucky and escaped without scandal, I doubt if others who go on a show like that can keep it clean. Judge for yourselves. How can a reality show where a man is not just ogling but actually sucking the naked breast of a woman in the house?”

Hamilton noted that although he wished Imisi well, he would not publicly congratulate her to avoid sending the wrong message. “If I had her number, I would call her privately, but I would not congratulate her on social media,” he said.

His comments come amid videos showing Celestial Church members campaigning for and celebrating Imisi’s win during the finale.

Imisi, whose full name is Opeyemi Ayanwale, was declared the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 10 on October 5.

She received N80 million in cash as part of a N150 million grand prize package, including a brand-new SUV and other sponsored gifts.
