The sister of Bimbo Ogbonna, the late wife of celebrity car dealer Ikechukwu Ogbonna aka IVD, on Tuesday remembered the deceased one month after her death.

Bimbo died on October 15 in a hospital following a fire incident at her residence in Megamound Estate, Lekki, Lagos.

She and her husband reportedly had a fight before the fire incident. Bimbo’s family have accused IVD of pushing her into the fire and watching her burn.

Bimbo’s sister identified on Instagram as Mama Jazzz expressed how much she misses the deceased.

She said, “My baby, my Bobby, Bimz it’s been a month you were murdered in cold blood. If only we could turn back the hands of time. It’s so hard to accept the fact that your aren’t here anymore, Abimbola. No one calls me Mummy J anymore. Not a day goes by that you don’t cross my mind. The day you were born, I became a sister; the day you died, you became my guardian angel. Keep watching over us, Abimbola. Justice will be served.”

Two days after Bimbo’s death, the police said IVD had been arrested and transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in the Yaba area of the state.

“Contrary to claims by family and friends that 37-year-old Ikechukwu Ogbonna aka IVD is on the run, he has been arrested and transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Yaba,” Lagos police spokesman Benjamin Hundeyin tweeted on October 17.

The police are yet to file charges against IVD in court.

Meanwhile, Lagos State Government has requested a coroner’s inquest to ascertain the cause of Bimbo’s death.

IVD and his wife were married for 16 years and they have five children.
