Burna Boy receives plaque as first African to sell out in Amsterdam

Grammy award-winning musician, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has been given a plaque after his concert sold out in 17, 000 capacity hall in Amsterdam, making him the first African artiste to do so.

Burna Boy made this known on Twitter on Friday with a photo of himself holding the plaque.

The text on the plaque read, “The First African to do it.”

The 30-year-old made history as the first African to sell out the Ziggi Dome in Amsterdam, Netherlands during his concert Burna Boy Space Drift tour.

This made the management of the facility present a special plaque artwork to celebrate his success.
