Actress and singer Bukunmi Oluwasina has responded to a fan’s creative tribute to her latest song, ‘Ori.’

On Friday, Bukunmi shared a video clip on her Instagram, captioning it: “Some of una don dey go shoot ORI ✨ music video behind my back??? E gbami mi ke 🤦🏻‍♀️

“@tobytwerk this is beautiful.”

The video, lasting over a minute, features the fan and others dressed in white outfits, holding calabashes and brooms.

As the song plays in the background, the fan lip-syncs its lyrics.

Bukunmi’s song ‘Ori,’ released on January 3, 2025, has stirred reflections and prayers among listeners.

Announcing the track’s debut, she shared a snippet on Instagram, accompanied by a note exploring the cultural and spiritual significance of ‘Ori’ (the head).

She wrote, “During deliverance, they lay a hand on your head or anoint it. When diabolic people attack, in our mother’s tongue, they would say, ‘Won pe Ori e.’

“In other religions, when you come to pray, they tell you to cover your head. No good or bad can come to a person without the consent of their head.”

She declared 2025 as a year of victory for her fans, offering blessings.

“Nothing is permitted to die around you. When you step out, you shall return. In the land of winners, you shall win. It shall truly be well with you. 2025, Ori wa o ni ko adura.”

In August 2024, Bukunmi addressed rumours of her death by sharing a striking black-and-white photo of herself with a shaved head.

Refuting the claims, she captioned the image, “Everyone wishing you or me death shall be buried before the end of 2024.”
