The union has been dubbed the ‘First Wedding’ being the first of its kind to be held inside Aso Villa, the seat of power.

According to the wedding invitation which went viral about a week ago, the families pleaded for understanding, saying it would be a low-key ceremony.

“In view of the current COVID-19 pandemic and compliance with the directives of the relevant health authorities of the country, usual gathering in such events will not therefore be healthy. We therefore use this medium to request you to bear witness of the matrimony as we also solicit for your prayers for the success of the occasion,” they said.

The groom Turad a financial expert is the son of a former lawmaker Mahmud Sha’aban who represented Zaria in the House of Representatives from May 2003 to May 2007.

Sha’aban is also a former governorship candidate in Kaduna State under the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria.

Meanwhile, Hanan celebrated her birthday a few days ago although she has not made an Instagram post since June 2.

Celebrating her, Zahra wrote on Instagram: “Happy birthday my exotic sister 😉.. No amount of words can describe to you how proud of you I am. Only in my silent prays will I be able to wish for you all the Good in the world. May Allah guide you through this new chapter of you life. Our Amarya to beeeeeeeee ❤️ You know how much you mean to me.”

Hanan graduated in 2019 with a first-class degree in Photography from Ravensbourne University, London.

Like her siblings, she attended Kaduna International School before proceeding to the UK for further studies.

Her final project was located in Kebbi State.
