Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party Godwin Obaseki has been declared winner of the election in Edo State.
The Independent National Electoral Commission’s returning officer Prof. Akpofure Rim-Rukeh announced the total result of the election on Sunday.
According to him, PDP polled 307,955 votes while the All Progressives Congress (APC) which had Osagie Ize-Iyamu as candidate got 223,619 votes.
