Nigeria records 386 new coronavirus cases, total figure now 3,912

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 386 new cases of the coronavirus disease in the country.


The agency announced this on Friday night via Twitter.

It said that of the new 386 cases, 176 are in Lagos, 65 in Kano, 31 in Katsina, 20 in the FCT, 17 in Borno, 15 in Bauchi, 14 in Nasarawa, 13 in Ogun and 10 in Plateau.

Others are four each in Oyo, Sokoto and Rivers, three in Kaduna, two each in Edo, Ebonyi and Ondo, while Enugu, Imo, Gombe, and Osun recorded one case each.

According to the NCDC, 679 persons have recovered and have been discharged across the country while 117 others have died of the disease.
