Bolanle Raheem was my real estate agent – Bolanle Olukanni

TV personality Bolanle Olukanni has mourned Bolanle Raheem, the lawyer and realtor killed by a policeman in Lagos on Christmas Day.

The Project Fame host spoke about her relationship with the deceased in a tweet on Monday, a day after the latter died.

“Bolanle Raheem was my real estate agent. She supported me in my goal and was always cheering me on. She was so hardworking, positive and such a cheerful spirit. She has a husband and child. I can’t even say more. The Nigerian police are killers,” Ms Olukanni wrote.

She also took exception to Lagos police spokesman Benjamin Hundeyin’s description of Mrs Raheem’s death as an “unfortunate incident.”

“An unfortunate incident????? An unfortunate incident is a flat tyre, an unfortunate incident is water flooding my house. A mother and wife was killed and you use the words unfortunate. I pray no one ever describes your family with those words. Nonsense,” Bolanle wrote in another tweet.

Bolanle announced in May that she had become a homeowner through Raheem’s Croston Homes.

“Praise be to the Most High! I bought my FIRST HOME. Still so wild – to believe that I am a Landlady. God really outdid himself with this one and I want to share with you the process of becoming a Homeowner.

“Thank you @crostonhomes for helping me find my first home!!!! Meeting you was God ordained. Realtor of life,” she wrote in an Instagram post.

Bolanle Raheem was until her death the CEO of Croston Homes.
