She wrote: “I SAID YES….. @ivd001 … For the first time I did not want drama. For the first time I did not want the noise. I just wanted peace and softness! To hear our heartbeat as 1 and hear you breathe into my face. Let’s do this together as we take this journey forever. YES YES YES I WILL MARRY YOU. IKECHUKWU DARRY OGBONNA.”

IVD was previously married to Bimbo Ogbonna, who died in October 2022 after a domestic incident that left her severely burned. She was reportedly turned away from several hospitals before being admitted. Bimbo later died, leaving behind five children after 16 years of marriage.

Shortly after the incident, Blessing CEO publicly defended IVD, claiming he was being unfairly judged.

Her outspoken support led to her arrest in 2023 on charges of cyberbullying and libel over comments directed at Bimbo’s family and others involved in the case.
