Beyoncé, Wizkid’s Brown Skin Girl debuts at number 76 on US Billboard chart

Brown Skin Girl, the collaboration between pop musician, Wizkid, and American singer, Beyoncé, has debuted at number 76 on the US Billboard Hot 100.

The song is off the The Lion King: The Gift album curated by Beyoncé.

Wizkid is featured on ‘Brown Skin Girl,’ alongside Beyoncé, her first child, Blue Ivy Carter and Saint Jhn.

The song which celebrates dark-skinned ladies has created a challenge called the #BrownSkinGirlChallenge where women post pictures of themselves using the hashtag.

The song has appeared at number 76 on the US chart and has been described as one of the best songs on the album.

This marks his second appearance as a credited artiste on the chart which definitively ranks the popularity of music in the US and North America.

He first appeared on the chart as a featured act on Drake’s hit single, ‘One Dance’ in 2016.

Nigerian singers featured on the album include Tiwa Savage and Burna Boy, Mr Eazi and Yemi Alade.

Beyoncé was involved in the 2019 live-action remake of The Lion King where she voiced adult Nala, the partner of Simba in the iconic flick.
