Robert Hargett, eldest brother of Evelyn, the late wife of Senator Ben Murray-Bruce, has been buried in Valdosta, Georgia, United States.
Mr Hargett was buried on Saturday according to a tweet by Murray-Bruce.
He wrote: “Robert Hargett, my late wife’s eldest brother buried today in Valdosta, Georgia.”
The former Bayelsa East lawmaker did not reveal the cause and date of death.
Murray-Bruce lost his wife to cancer on March 20.
They were married for 41 years and have four children with several grandchildren.
