Gospel singer and worship leader Bakare Boluwatife-Oluwatobi, popularly known as BBO, has publicly introduced his fiancée, fellow singer Tolamise Taiwo, after weeks of rumours suggesting he had secretly gotten married.
The ‘Amin’ singer shared a photo of both of them on social media on Saturday, confirming their relationship while wearing matching outfits.
In his post, BBO wrote: “Chosen, Blessed and Forever ❤️ My very special gift from God.”
The announcement quickly attracted reactions from fans and colleagues in the gospel music space.
Pastor Daniel Olawande commented: “So happy, father of bride and groom When your choir member marries your fav.”
The news follows months of speculation about the singer’s relationship status. Earlier in March, BBO posted pictures from an outing that showed him wearing a ring, which sparked rumours that he had married secretly.
Social media users later filled his comment section with questions about the ring and his relationship status.
At the time, he had already hinted that he was in a relationship during the 2025 Young Ministers Retreat led by Pastor Daniel Olawande, where a clip also circulated of the cleric suggesting he would return married the following year.
BBO is known for songs such as ‘My God’, ‘Iranlowo’ and ‘Amin’, and has steadily built a following within Nigeria’s gospel music scene.
After the fiancée reveal, congratulatory messages continued to pour in from fans and colleagues.
