Big Brother Naija BBNaija

MultiChoice Nigeria has announced a grand prize of N150 million for the winner of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 10, the highest in the show’s history since it began in 2006.

The 10th season will premiere with a double launch on Saturday, July 26 and Sunday, July 27, and will air on DStv and GOtv platforms.

Speaking on the upcoming edition, executive head of content and West Africa channels at MultiChoice Nigeria, Busola Tejumola, said the show will mark a decade of entertainment, impact and growth.

“BBNaija Season 10 is more than just a reality show. It’s a celebration of a decade of entertainment, growth, and impact. This season, we’re embracing the theme of ‘Connections’ to reflect the deep bonds the show has created over the years,” she said.

Tejumola added that over the course of nine seasons, the show has featured 197 housemates, aired for 709 days and awarded N637 million in prizes.

She also confirmed that Ebuka Obi-Uchendu will return as the host for the new season.

The previous season, themed No Loose Guard, introduced a twist where housemates auditioned in pairs before competing individually. It ended with Kellyrae, a married woman, becoming the first of her kind to win the show and walk away with N100 million.

This year’s auditions, held physically for the first time since 2019, took place between May 16 and 18.
