Basketmouth recounts meeting with Trevor Noah

Basketmouth

Stand-up comedian Bright Okpocha popularly known as Basketmouth has narrated his stage experience with South African comedian Trevor Noah stating that the latter once opened up a show for him in London.

The 43-year-old said this in a recent interview with TV host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu reported on Thursday.

“Someone walked up to me and said, ‘are you cool with a comedian opening for you? He went on stage; I was at the back, hanging with my friends, the next thing I heard was laughter and explosion.

“I walked in, and this guy was killing it. When he was done, I went in and still nailed it.”

Basketmouth however said that he is not jealous of Noah’s success because he can’t do what the South African comedian does.
