Adeboye causes Twitter storm over virus comments

General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Enoch Adeboye, has become a subject of debate on social media over his comments that one who truly serves God will not be infected by any virus.

Amid increasing cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) around the world, Pastor Adeboye said in a video posted on social media on Monday that this is the time for God to prove himself to those who ‘wholeheartedly’ serve him.

He, however, advocated for personal hygiene such as washing of hands, keeping one’s environment clean, saying they were next to Godliness.

Some kids were really insulting Pastor Adeboye for praying for the nation, because they wanted to get retweets from their fellow idiots. Even Donald Trump, the President of USA and one of the most powerful people in the world declared a National Day of Prayer over Coronavirus.
