Comedian and filmmaker, Ayo (AY) Makun, has thanked his followers for saving Big Brother Naija housemate, Venita, from eviction.
The 48-year-old said a thank you to them in an Instagram post on Sunday.
“THANK YOU GUYS FOR KEEPING MY GIRLFRIEND @veezeebaybeh IN BIG BROTHER NIGERIA.THANK YOU TO EVERY SINGLE PERSON THAT VOTED, THAT CAMPAIGNED, THAT CALLED, THAT REACHED OUT. YOU ALL DID IT. WE COULDN’T HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT YOU ❤️ GOD BLESS YOU,” he wrote.
Venita narrowly escaped eviction as she got the fourth-highest vote tally of the six housemates up for eviction.
Sir Dee and Esther polled lowest and were subsequently evicted from the game show.
AY Makun was not the only celebrity who campaigned for Venita.
Actress, Ini Edo, and ex-beauty queen, Dabota Lawson, are some of her more popular supporters.
