Comedian and filmmaker AY Makun has shared pictures of some presidential candidates greeting themselves ahead of Nigeria’s general elections which begin on Saturday, February 25.
Those in the pictures shared by the comedian on Thursday are Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
“The picture above is for those of you who are very much ready to go out there and kill yourselves on Saturday over any politician. History has confirmed that the candidates you are supporting will still end up being friends before or after any elections. Kindly go out there and vote to stay alive,” the comedian’s post read in part.
The pictures AY shared were taken on Wednesday at the signing of a peace accord by presidential candidates of various parties at the International Conference Centre, Abuja.
The event, which was the second in the series, was organised by the National Peace Committee headed by former Head of State General Abdulsalami Abubakar in conjunction with the Kukah Centre.
