The management of Auchi Polytechnic in Edo State has debunked rumour on social media about the death of the institution’s rector Sunny Jimah.
The varsity’s spokesman Mustapha Oshiobugie said the rumour was false in a statement on Thursday.
“The management of the Polytechnic states categorically that the Rector of the Polytechnic, Dr. M. S. Jimah is alive,” the statement read.
“The public is advised to simply disregard the news, It is the Almighty God that gives life and by His grace, the Rector is alive.”
