Arsenal forward, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, will have some family reunion at international level after his father and cousin were named Gabon co-coaches.

Pierre Aubame and Daniel Cousin comes in after the dismissal last week of Spaniard Jose Antonio Camacho, the country’s football federation said.

Aubame, a former footballer and scout for AC Milan, garnered 80 caps for his country.

Cousin, meanwhile, an ex-forward at Rangers and Hull City and previously who acted as team manager in charge of logistics, featured 53 times.

Francois Amegasse, another former national team captain, takes over Cousin’s role.

” We hope these three former captains will transmit their experience to the players,” the Gabon FA said in a statement.

Camacho, a former Spain coach, was fired last week after a run of only two wins in 17 matches in charge over the last two years.

Their first competitive games in charge of Gabon will next month when they face South Sudan.
